Moore Performance Marine Parts is owned and operated by Dennis Moore,
author of Big-Block Chevy Marine Performance and Small-Block Chevy
Marine Performance.
Dennis was born and raised in Minnesota and currently lives in Southern
California. As a kid, when he wasn't boating, fishing or water skiing on one of
Minnesota's ten thousand lakes, he was mowing lawns to make enough money
to go to one of two nearby drag strips.
He has a California teaching credential in marine engine repair from UCLA, and
has been factory-trained in Evinrude/Johnson outboards, OMC/Cobra stern
drives and Volvo Gas and Diesel stern drives. He is a factory-certified Mercury
Outboard Technician and is one of the few of an elite group of Mercruiser
Master Technicians.
The company is the result of his over thirty years of experience in the industry,
and his nononsense approach to marine engine performance modifications.
