EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERSION KIT FOR
MERCRUISER V6 ENGINES WITH THE
NO-LONGER-AVAILABLE 1-PIECE EXHAUST
MANIFOLDS.
Some MerCruiser V6 engines were sold with a 1-piece
manifold/riser (above).  They are no-longer-available.  
The replacement is the traditional 2-piece manifold
and riser combination (below).
The V6 1-piece to 2-piece conversion
kit includes two manifolds, two 4 inch
risers, two 4 inch rubber bellows, eight
4 inch hose clamps, two exhaust
pipes, two cylinder head to exhaust
manifold gaskets, two manifold to riser
gaskets, eight riser to manifold bolts,
two water hose inlet fittings with drain
plugs and two aluminum anti-corrosion
anodes (aluminum manifold and risers
only).

The outlet dimensions on the
new replacement 2-piece
exhaust manifold is the same
as the old 1-piece exhaust
manifold.  They both
measure 4 1/4 inches long X
3 inches wide.
When installing the 2-piece manifold
conversion kit you must reuse the
original bellows (on the right)
MerCruiser # 32-80743358.
There is some confusion about
changing the "Y" pipe when
installing the 2-piece manifold
conversion kit. The original "Y"
pipe can be used.
The inlet flange is larger for the
1-piece manifolds "Y" pipe, it
measures 4 1/4 inches long X 3
5/8 inches wide.  The 2-piece
manifolds Y-Pipe measures 4 1/4
inches long X 3 inches wide.
You do not need to change the Y-Pipe when
installing the 2-piece manifold conversion kit!
